The country singer - who has dated actor Taylor Lautner and pop star Joe Jonas in the past - admits she has a mixed-up view of love and has occasionally got herself hurt by her own excitement.

She said: 'At times I've been really guarded and careful and afraid to trust someone. But other times, you want to jump in headfirst. I've had moments of thinking, This is who I love and I don't care what anyone says. Those moments are beautiful and wild and exciting, but I've learned that those moments can end up hurting you in the end.

'I've been careful in love. I've been careless in love. And I've had adventures I wouldn't trade for anything.'

The 20-year-old beauty also admits she is looking for someone who has 'passions' she respects and hopes to find someone who has integrity and is trustworthy.

She told Glamour magazine: 'I look for someone who has passions that I respect, like his career. Someone who loves what he does is really attractive.

'In high school, I used to think it was 'like sooooo cool' if a guy had an awesome car. Now none of that matters. These days I look for character and honesty and trust.'

Taylor recently confessed she found love 'confusing' and often hopes for and fears love in equal measure.

She said: 'Naturally, I want to write songs about love and relationships because I find it find it all very confusing. When I meet someone new I live somewhere between hope and fear. Hope that this time it could be different, and fear that it will turn out like it has before.'

The Canadian-born star also revealed he has a fondness for British girls and is hoping Robert, who was born and raised in London, can give him some tips.

He said: 'The girls go crazy for him over here but I have a big thing for English girls so maybe we could hit a couple of parties in London as well.'

Meanwhile, Justin has been tipped to host a new version of 'Punk'd'.

According to reports, MTV is bringing back the hidden camera show which sees celebrities get pranked and Justin is in negotiations to take over from previous host Ashton Kutcher, who quit in 2007.

The show's creators Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, will executive produce the new run.

Justin is quickly making a name for himself as a prankster.

He recently panicked fellow pop star Akon by pretending to be his illegitimate son in a phone call.

'Almost nobody recognised the two while they were there. The staff was aware, as they get famous people watching shows there all the time and are willing to accommodate their needs if needed.'

Despite managing to go unseen by the majority of concert-goers, some did notice they were behaving as if they were a couple and spent the night 'extremely close' to each other.

The onlooker told Hollywood Life: 'They were close to each other with Kristen in front of Rob almost all night. They never hid the fact they were obviously a couple, they were extremely close the entire time they both were there.

'It looked like they were both enjoying the music but it was Kristen who enjoyed it the most as she was seen singing the songs and there were times she sang songs to Rob, while Rob just smiled and laughed that Kristen was loving it.'

It is the second time this week the couple have ventured out and made it clear they were romantically involved - last Saturday (02.10.10) the pair enjoyed a meal out at top Hollywood restaurant Soho House.

A source said: 'They were staring at each other throughout dinner and kept stealing quick kisses from one another during the night. Rob's arm was around her for most of dinner and they kept looking at each other and giggling throughout the evening. They are definitely into each other.'
